Bring your whole progress story to every appointment

MetaSyn can generate a clean, printable progress report to hand your doctor at your next appointment. No more trying to recall months of doses, weight changes, or side effects from memory - one page, fully formatted, ready to print or save as a PDF.

What is the Doctor Report?
The Doctor Report is a clean, print-ready summary of your entire GLP-1 journey - weights, doses, and side effects - formatted to share directly with your doctor or specialist. Instead of trying to remember months of data at your appointment, you hand your doctor one page that tells the whole story.
What does the report include?
It includes three sections: your weight progress (starting weight, current weight, total lost, average weekly loss rate, and estimated goal date), your full dose history (dates, medications, doses, and notes), and your side effect log (dates, types, severity ratings, and notes). You can choose which sections to include before printing.
Can I choose what sections to include?
Yes. Before generating the report, you can toggle individual sections on or off - weight progress, dose history, and side effects. Only include what is relevant to your appointment.
How do I print or save it as a PDF?
Open the Doctor Report from your dashboard, select the sections you want, then click "Print Report." Your browser will open the print dialog. To save as a PDF instead of printing, choose "Save as PDF" from the destination dropdown. The report is formatted to look clean on paper.
Does my doctor need to use MetaSyn to see the report?
No. The report is a plain printed page (or PDF). Your doctor does not need an account or access to MetaSyn - you just hand them the document.
How current is the data in the report?
The report reflects everything you have logged up to the moment you generate it. Each report is timestamped so your doctor knows exactly when it was created.

About MetaSyn

What is MetaSyn?
MetaSyn is a free health tracking app built specifically for people using GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound. It helps you log doses, track your weight, monitor side effects, and follow your dose escalation schedule all in one place.
Is MetaSyn free?
Yes, completely free. No credit card required, no trial period, no hidden fees. We built this because we wanted a better tracking experience for GLP-1 users.
Do I need to install an app?
No. MetaSyn runs entirely in your browser. On iPhone, tap the Share button and choose "Add to Home Screen." On Android, tap the browser menu and choose "Install app." This gives you a full app-like experience without needing the App Store.
Is MetaSyn a medical app?
No. MetaSyn is a personal logging and tracking tool, not a medical device. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice. Always consult your prescribing doctor before changing your medication or dosing schedule.

Medications & Tracking

Which medications are supported?
MetaSyn supports Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Saxenda, and Trulicity. Each has a built-in dose escalation timeline so you can follow your titration schedule with a visual guide.
How does dose escalation work?
When you set up your account, you select your medication and starting dose. MetaSyn generates a visual timeline based on the standard titration schedule for that medication, showing your current dose and when your next step-up is expected. You can view this on the Dose Plan page.
Can I track more than one medication?
Yes. Each dose log lets you select the medication and dose, so you can track multiple medications over time or if you switch medications.
What units does weight tracking use?
MetaSyn supports both pounds (lbs) and kilograms (kg). You can set your preferred unit in Settings.
How does water tracking work?
You can log water intake throughout the day in ounces or milliliters. Your daily goal is set in Settings (default is 64 oz / 1.9 L). The water tracker resets at midnight in your local timezone.

Privacy & Data

Is my health data private?
Yes. Only you can see your data. We never sell, share, or use your health information for advertising. Your logs are stored securely and are only accessible to your account.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export your dose history and weight logs as CSV files at any time. Look for the export button on each tracking page.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom to find the account deletion option. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data. This cannot be undone.
Who handles authentication?
Sign-in is handled by Clerk, a secure authentication provider. MetaSyn never stores your password directly.

Notifications & Reminders

Can I get dose reminders?
Yes. MetaSyn can send you email or push notification reminders when your next dose is due. Set your reminder preferences in Settings.
What is the weekly summary email?
If you opt in, MetaSyn sends a weekly email every Monday with a summary of your doses, weight trend, and side effects from the past week. You can enable or disable this in Settings.
How do I enable push notifications?
Go to Settings and click "Enable push notifications." Your browser will ask for permission. Once granted, you will receive notifications even when the app is not open.

Other Features

What is the Insights page?
Insights shows correlations between your dose timing, dose levels, and side effect patterns. It helps you understand how your body responds to the medication over time.
Can I track progress photos?
Yes. The Photos page lets you upload and organize progress photos by angle (front, side, back). Photos are private to your account.
Are meals and body measurements coming?
Yes - meal logging with nutrition details and body measurements tracking are both on the roadmap. Check the Roadmap page to see what is coming next.
